Description

Waterlock Solvent-based Bitumen is a blend of selected solvents and bitumen that form a high-quality, fast-drying primer, used for the improvement of adhesion between masonry and concrete substrates with bitumen membranes and coatings. Being very low viscose in nature, the primer is highly penetrative and binds the dust in the micro pores of the substrate. iKote SB41 conforms to ASTM D 41 standards.

Recommended Application

As a curing compound on freshly cast concrete.
As a moisture barrier on concrete & block work surfaces prior to cladding.
As a damp-proof & protective coating for buried concrete structures like footings, retaining wall etc.
As a primer and sealer coat prior to the application of bitumen-based pre-formed sheet membranes and coatings.

Description

Waterlock WBP is a blend of bitumen, selected emulsifying agent and water, which is dark brown in colour and dries to form a black coating. Waterlock WBP is used as a primer on concrete surfaces for torch-applied membranes and coatings.

As a primer for torch-applied membranes & other bitumen coatings.
